One of Qeshm’s attractions in this village is Nadery Castle, known as the strongest fortress on Qeshm Island. 6. Qeshm Portuguese castle

These historical castles located on Qeshm Island are masterpieces of historical architecture that attract many tourists each year. The castle, has over 2,000 square meters, is built of limestone and plaster stones using sarooj mortar. Surrounding it are four tall towers equipped with cannons and catapults.

Within a 500-meter radius of the castle is an ancient 3-kilometer-long tunnel, which served as an escape route for Portuguese commanders and soldiers, and a place to store military ammunition.

7. Hengam Island

A small island covering approximately 33.6 square kilometers, its settlements appear in the form of incomplete cones. The island is located on the southern coast of Qeshm and has three villages named Old Hengam, New Hengam, and Ghil, which are connected by roads.
