These historical castles located on Qeshm Island are masterpieces of historical architecture that attract many tourists each year. The castle, has over 2,000 square meters, is built of limestone and plaster stones using sarooj mortar. Surrounding it are four tall towers equipped with cannons and catapults.
Within a 500-meter radius of the castle is an ancient 3-kilometer-long tunnel, which served as an escape route for Portuguese commanders and soldiers, and a place to store military ammunition.
