Flysepehran has announced the resumption of flights on the Mashhad–Najaf–Mashhad route following a temporary suspension caused by regional conditions.
According to a statement released by Flysepehran’s Public Relations Office, flights on the Mashhad–Najaf–Mashhad route returned to the airline’s operational schedule on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 (29 Ordibehesht 1405). With the resumption of the service, passengers can once again travel directly between Mashhad and Najaf.
The reopening of the route comes as Flysepehran continues to restore its international flight network following improvements in operational conditions. The airline has also resumed other regional services, including the Mashhad–Baghdad–Mashhad route, as part of the gradual return of its international operations.
The Mashhad–Najaf route is particularly important for pilgrims and passengers traveling to Iraq’s holy shrines. With regular operations now resumed, direct travel to Najaf is once again available for passengers departing from Mashhad.
Flysepehran also operates other direct services to Najaf. Pilgrims and travelers from northwestern Iran can use the direct Tabriz–Najaf flight, providing another option for direct travel to the city.
The airline has also previously reported a strong on-time performance at Najaf Airport, reflecting its focus on maintaining regular flight operations on this important international route.
Flysepehran emphasized that maintaining services on international pilgrimage routes remains an important part of its flight network. The resumption of the Mashhad–Najaf–Mashhad service is intended to meet passenger demand and facilitate direct travel for pilgrims and other travelers between Iran and Iraq.
The airline also stated that it remains committed to operating its flights in accordance with safety requirements and scheduled operational programs.
Passengers can check the latest flight schedules, seat availability, and ticket information through Flysepehran’s official website.
