As part of its ongoing network expansion strategy, FlySepehran has launched a new direct scheduled service on the Rasht–Baghdad–Rasht route. According to the airline’s official announcement, flights on this route will operate twice weekly, every Monday and Friday, providing passengers with direct connectivity between Sardar Jangal International Airport and Baghdad International Airport.
The launch of the new service further expands FlySepehran’s Baghdad flight network and complements the existing Mashhad–Baghdad–Mashhad service. Together, these routes provide Iraqi travelers with additional options for direct travel to Iran through different cities within the FlySepehran network.
Flysepehran Airlines continues to expand its regional flight network, providing passengers with more convenient connections to key destinations in Iraq. Travelers can also learn more about the resumption of scheduled flights to Najaf, another important route serving passengers traveling between Iran and Iraq.
The Rasht–Baghdad route also creates new opportunities for passenger travel between Iraq and northern Iran. Rasht, as the capital of Gilan Province, provides access to one of Iran’s distinctive northern regions, known for its green landscapes, temperate climate, Caspian Sea coastline, local culture, and a wide range of natural and recreational attractions.
Direct access to Rasht can make travel to Gilan more convenient for Iraqi passengers who are interested in discovering destinations beyond Iran’s major central and religious tourism hubs. The new route therefore not only strengthens air connectivity between Iran and Iraq but can also support inbound tourism to northern Iran.
Rasht is also connected to other parts of FlySepehran’s domestic network. Passengers traveling from southern Iran can reach the city through the Bandar Abbas–Rasht flight, creating another connection between the Persian Gulf region and the Caspian Sea.
By adding Rasht to its Baghdad services, FlySepehran continues to develop its regional network and provide passengers with a broader range of direct travel options between Iran and Iraq.
Passengers planning to travel on the new route are advised to check the latest flight schedule before departure and complete their reservations through the airline’s official website. Tickets for the Rasht–Baghdad–Rasht service are available for online booking via FlySepehran.
